My Book Nook
I love reading and have since I was a kid. Unfortunately I don’t get to read as much as I would always like but sometimes life just doesn’t allow enough time for all the little pleasures. I do manage to sneak in a few lines here and there or a good novel, and will peruse new garden and sustainable living books fairly well before I put them on the shelf until they’re needed. We have an ever growing collection of books about homesteading, gardening, DIY techniques, parenting, Newfoundlands and more, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. There’s still something special about real books that you will never get online or in ebooks. Don’t get me wrong, I love ebooks too, especially because they are so quickly available. But having a printed copy of a book that you can hold on to for years is different and wonderful.
Below you will find a list of the books I’m currently reading, trying to read or ready to review. There are also titles that I recently read and reviewed. I’ve broken them down into broad categories to make it easier for you to find the books that interest you. If you’d like more recommendations, please visit my Amazon.com or Amazon.de store. I appreciate all the orders placed via the Amazon links because they help support the cost of running this blog and allow me to keep doing what I’m doing.
