Good morning world!
Well, as you’ve probably heard by now it’s been quite a week for me. My humans were in a pretty bad car accident last week and I unfortunately had no idea what had happened to them for a few days. But on Tuesday I got to stay with our neighbors (who I LOVE) and their Golden Retriever, Mani.
The neighbors came to get me on Tuesday and I was a bit concerned. On the other hand, I was so excited to see my good friends that I allowed my concern to take a back seat so I could enjoy time with them.
And what a time we had! Now I had a friend to go on walks with and we could play all the time — although I must admit that Mani is a bit on the crazy side when it comes to the subject of rocks. He is obsessed with them. And they don’t have to even be that big. Sometimes he shows up with something that’s even smaller than a pea. I don’t know how he manages to keep track of them in his mouth. Surely those things would get lost in all sorts of places in my mouth!
Aside from having a great time with Mani, I also got to do something I almost never get to do. It was just too awesome. You won’t believe this…but I actually got to sleep in their bed! I’m not kidding. Maybe they were just having mercy on me because I was still a bit concerned about my humans. Or perhaps they just understood that I needed somewhere new to rest my head since they didn’t want me climbing up on their rabbit cages like last time. Those things are sturdy!
Anyway, things are getting back to normal here although Mom hasn’t gone on too many walks with us yet. I miss having her along but hopefully it won’t be too much longer until she’s back to her old self.
