Our challenge for the week was “white” — and at first I thought that might be a little difficult. I mean I didn’t want to capture the usual stuff so I just started looking a little harder. At first I didn’t see much, but now as I sit here writing, all sorts of other things come to mind as well.
I had some fun capturing these and hope you enjoy gazing upon them. Once I got started, it wasn’t long before I realized there was a lot more white around me than anticipated.
If you’d like to join in the fun of You Capture challenges, all you need to do is pop over to Beth’s blog, I Should Be Folding Laundry, and find out the challenge for the week.
I started in the kitchen, where it seemed most logical to find white stuff.
The lid of my bread keeper from Römertopf — which I adore.
The door of my dryer — something else I adore, along with our washing machine. 🙂
And this morning I took my camera on the walk because I had been so inspired by the white around us on the walk with Ayla yesterday.
White flowers are all over, even though most of them are weeds. But they are really cute weeds–as long as they are not growing in my yard!
And what could be better than a white butterfly?
What white things surround you?
LOVE that bread keeper! What a beautiful dish, and your photo capture was delightful!
You really went all out finding the white. I love your abstract shots from the kitchen.
Love the butterfly! never seen one so white 🙂
