We’ve only got a few weeks left until Mackenzie arrives so putting her furniture together finally seemed like the right thing to do. Last Thursday we had seized the moment and finally went to take care of the initial paperwork for birthing at St. Vinzenz hospital in Hanau. Yep, we’ve got a hospital now

This is the St. Vinzenz Hospital in Hanau. It, like just about every other hospital in Germany it seems, is undergoing some construction. Even the other hospital in Hanau, Klinikum Hanau, is under construction. Last Saturday was an unheard of event for us. We went to 4 different stores in one day, crossing a variety of things off our shopping lists. A sling for all occasions

I bought a Baby Bjorn Synergy sling on eBay earlier this week and we picked it up from the post office on Saturday. When I decided to try it on, I have to admit I was intimidated. Yes, I would like to keep eating today

So far, things have gone extremely easy and smooth with this pregnancy. I’ve only had about 3 days with morning sickness, no real pains or discomforts, and generally just been able to enjoy things.
