Looking for some good digital reading?
Can’t sleep at night and want to read the entire senate bailout proposal HR 1424? Or maybe find all the In Your Pocket travel guides in one quick location? Or want to browse something before you buy but aren’t happy with the 6 pages you get on Amazon? Then go check out Scribd.com.
As much as this sounds like an advertisement, I just discovered this website via a forum I subscribe to and I’m not being paid to plug them. But I found copies of books like “The Complete Book of Self-Sufficiency” and “The Encyclopedia of Country Living” here which I have heard lots of people rave about but rarely found copies of to purchase. There are also lots of older books like you’d find in the Google archives that are no longer printed or under copyright.
It’s my understanding that some books may be shared on here without the author’s permission and you don’t want to steal their hard-earned money…so if you like the book, go buy a copy. I mean who really wants to print out a 1000 page manual if they can buy it for 20 bucks?
