Thanks so much to you all for the lovely birthday wishes. I know I'm a spring chicken still (although so days I feel more like the old mule) :) There's so much living left to do and I'm not going to let a silly thing like my age put me in corners or hold me back!

Happy belated birthday.

I think once I got to 27 I had a moment when I said to myself "you're really, truly a grown-up now" and since then I haven't really felt much older with each passing year.

Happy Birthday Tiffany! I don't know why but I think 30 was the hardest birthday for me. I turned 30 while living 'overseas' in Austria. Perhaps this is why I enjoy your blog as it reminds me of my time over there which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm nearly looking down the barrel of 50 now so that was a while ago. I ran my first marathon at 40, so I'm probably in better shape now than I was even back then, so it's not always downhill as I might have thought on my 30th.

Sounds like you are back on top of technology! Great birthday gifts. (or should I say presents!!) My 30th birthday hit me harder than any other...for a second. It is only a number. For my 50th Charlie (husband) arranged for the front yard to be filled with black crows...and a big sign that said welcome to the flock...as in I am now an old crow! The crows looked like Heckle and Jeckle from the cartoons. (this company also does pink flamingos) Birthdays are fun...enjoy!
