With the first couple giveaway’s already behind us, I’m happy to note that Mackenzie’s room is looking less like a baby store every day…although we do already have tons of stuff for her to wear at the moment thanks to awesome friends and family who have been sending us things! Now we just need to start collecting some music CD’s and maybe a few DVD’s of Sesame Street to watch here and there…because my brain is going to melt if I have to hear the same 10 German kids songs again from her single music CD. Guess I need to hop over to eBay and start listing stuff QUICK!

Outfit #1: Long-sleeved purple shirt and matching corduroy pants

Size: 9 months
Details: Carter’s long-sleeved, button-up lavender-colored shirt with brown polka-dots. Shirt is collared with little purple flower buttons down the front and brown bows on the cuffs of the sleeves. The pants are brown corduroy and trimmed on cuffs, waist and pockets with a purple flower print pattern.
Worn: 1 time.

This outfit was a gift from Stefan’s grandmother, so don’t let her know we’re giving it away. She would be happy to know we are keeping most of the other outfits she’s given us, though….I seriously don’t know what we’re going to do with all of them but I actually do have a few ideas already. Did I mention this in recent emails because I’m having serious deja vu about this! 🙂 We are going to need a whole lot of wall space for what I have in mind though…

Outfit #2: Yellow flowered overalls with short-sleeve shirt

Size: 9 months
Details: Carter’s lightweight overalls with yellow flower print. Matching short-sleeved shirt with flowers embroidered on the collar.
Worn: 1 time? Maybe none.

A rather summery outfit, this Carter’s combo is totally adorable. I don’t think Mackenzie ever even got to wear it though, because once we received it, summer was pretty much over. Seasons change rapidly here in Germany so may have 100 degree summer one day, and the next fall starts and it’s 60.

Outfit #3: Long-sleeved, footed flower-print jumper with butt ruffles

Size: 9 months
Details: Laura Ashely outfit with orange and blue flowers. Long-sleeves and footed jumper with three buttons on the back. White collar with mock-shirt in front and white ruffles on the back.
Worn: 1 time? Maybe none.

I was always a bit frustrated with things that slid on over the head and then buttoned when Mackenzie was smaller…especially when she wasn’t sitting on her own or was just all over the place. They are still practical for changing diapers, though.

Outfit #4: Short-sleeve, pink striped jumper with Pomeranian

Size: 6-12 months
Details: Gymboree short-sleeved jumper with stripes and a cute little dog on front…which I would venture to guess is a Pomeranian. Slides over the head and buttons around the legs for easy changing.
Worn: 3-4 times.
“Awww” factor: 10

This outfit is just horribly cute. The little dog is fuzzy and the colors are really cute. We might have used it for a sleeping outfit a few times and maybe once around the house. It was almost too cute to just sleep in but too cool at the time to go out with it on.

Outfit #5: Long-sleeved brown jumper with “pretty” girl and bunny

Size: 9 months
Details: Carter’s brown jersey-knit fabric and long, retro flower-print sleeves. Little girl with a rabbit smiling on the side. Tag “pretty” on bottom of left leg.
Worn: 3-4 times
“Awww” factor: 9

Another really cute outfit from Carter’s that was comfortable enough for Mackenzie to sleep in but also cute enough for her to go out in. I never have been very good at determining if these things are supposed to be considered pajamas or all day wear.

Outfit #6: Yellow fleece jumper with “songbird”

Size: 9 months
Details: Carter’s super soft fleece jumper with a diamond, quilt-like pattern. Embroidered with a pink bird in a cage and a pocket on the left side has a tag that reads “songbird.”
Worn: 2 times
“Awww” factor: 10

If I could fit in this, I would keep it! The fleece is really lovely and soft, and I’m sure it’s wonderfully warm to sleep in during the winter.
