This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of GNC. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s time for me to be honest with you. I haven’t been running like I should be. It’s been over a month since I last ran, and that was a short one to say the least. I haven’t been swimming either.

I’ve hit a proverbial wall when it comes to logging my miles and cross training — and I see it every time I slip on that bikini or glance in the mirror. But yet, that’s not been the motivation I need to kick my own butt. Or to stop eating.

Thankfully, there are others who are good at keeping others in mind, and reminding us of what we need to be doing. Which made it all that more of a slap in the kisser when I was recently contacted by a not-so-little company that you’ve probably heard of: GNC.

GNC started as the “General Nutrition Center” nearly 80 years ago in Pittsburgh as a place to go to live well and perform at your best. They do their best to make sure this still holds true today. For premium products and knowledgeable staff, there are few other places I would rather go. GNC has everything you need for everything you can be.

And as luck would have it, GNC is in the business of helping you beat average everyday.

In fact, they’re so interested in helping you beat average — they’ve launched a new campaign for GNC Live Well. If you haven’t seen this commercial, you’ve got to watch it. It gets a laugh out of me every time!

Beat average is a call for all of us to go above and beyond. To push ourselves to be the best we can be. For GNC customers, it’s a rallying cry to feel better and strive for more than they ever have before.

And you know what, it made me realize that I have been doing so much to #BeatAverage with so many aspects of life. But I can’t always be Superwoman and that’s ok too.

We went from non-runners to finishing a marathon in less than a year. And ran a whole lot before and after that. So it’s natural to want to drop off and my life has been less than boring lately. Especially with adjusting to Florida’s climate and starting up a new business.

But average is for the other guys. It always has been. #TeamGNC is pushing me on. So I’m getting out of my funk and will be hitting the pavement in the morning.

Have you been putting off hitting the gym, starting to walk or run, or even completing other projects? Now is the time to push past all the excuses and get out there!
