The tile is (almost) finished
This morning we finally started on the last leg tiling the shower. We had to run to Hagebau yesterday before it closed for the weekend. When we returned, we where just too tired to go on. So, fresh and rested we finished the last few rows of tiles and planned on placing the tiles over the pipes.
Finishing the tile was a simple task. Unfortunately we where not so lucky when it came to cutting the holes of the pipes. Unfortunately our little Dremel tile cutter broke off after we did the first hole of the day. Not very satisfying, but since we will wait with grouting the wall tile until the floor tile is in (we will be using the same grout) it’s ok.
The shower looks fantastic. After cleaning off the remaining tile glue we where absolutely surprised by how great it came out. We had definitely expected a much harder time doing this project.
