We weren’t really planning this…but I guess we’ve been leading ourselves up to it for a while. First we got a big goofy dog (which is like having a toddler who never grows up); then we found ourselves a big farmhouse that we started renovating. Plus we’re about 30 now so we might as well get on with it if we’re going to do it.

Mackenzie Skye was born November 25th, 2008, weighing 7 pounds 4.75 ounces (3310 grams) and 52 cm long. I used the HypnoBabies program while pregnant and on the birthing day and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. I absolutely recommend you look in to the program if you’re considering a natural child birth. Here’s a few more details about my birthing experience here in Germany.

Our first eleven months with her went by in a blur but we are so happy to have her in our lives. It feels like she has been with us forever and we don’t really know why we didn’t try this out sooner.

It’s amazing how quickly children grow up. At only 8 months old, Mackenzie had learned the art of wrapping people around her little finger and new experiences are happening every day.
