I was just out buying more baby food yesterday and once again blow away with all the different fruit combos...but I've decided I have to start making our own food soon...Mack is just not interested in anything non-fruit out of a jar. And after tasting some of them, I totally understand.

Loving your blog. I signed it right up on my reader - always love meeting new expats here in Germany! :)

Hi Tiffany,
I am always amazed at the -huge- variety of baby food here in Germany, also the crazy number of brands, not to mention the actual food combinations. - take care! Laura from baroquebabies.com, come over and say hello when you have a chance!

I absolutely agree! I intend to start making food for her asap, especially when we have our own tasty veggies to give her. She won't ever want to eat store-bought produce again lol. There are just too many strange things popping up in food these days and it's just so easy anyways.

And now the fun begins! Be sure to introduce foods one at a time to make sure there are not allergies. I started mine with the rice cereal. After the cereals I gave them food I prepared for them...mashed up squash or blended beans or peas, etc. Baby food is a racket in my mind. If you steam and mash the food yourself you know what is in it. That is just me....
