Woof Wednesday: What is that lovely aroma?
Hi friends! The last few weeks have been really smelly for me…and for those around me. I have had a lucky couple of weeks when it comes to locating piles of garbage and strange things to roll in. The first time was a couple weekends ago when I found some particularly stinky stuff and got it plastered all over my front and right side, plus all caked into my harness. I don’t like my harness... read more

Woof Wednesday: The Great Walnut Caper
Hello my dear woof-tastic friends, I hope you’ve been doing well. I wonder if you’re also feeling the need to sleep longer during the mornings like me? We’ve gone from early morning sunrises before 6am to well after 7am and I have to say I really appreciate the opportunity to catch up on some much needed sleep. Mackenzie has been keeping me busy with her walnut games and I have to give... read more

Woof Wednesday: I need to find a cave
Hello to all my two- and four-legged friends! The sun is finally starting to peak out from behind the clouds here. And it couldn’t come at a better time because I have to tell you…I’m not a fan of getting my paws wet when I walk through the grass. Sure I love to splash in the stream as often as I can…and sometimes even take a swim in one of the farmer’s rainwater ponds. But... read more

Woof Wednesday: How to Kiss a Toddler
Hey world! Last week I told you how cool our vacation was…you probably remember all those photos of me jumping around like a crazy puppy, right? Well in addition to the vacation being totally fun, I also noticed that it’s not always so easy to settle down when you’re in a foreign place. You have to try out all the various types of floors, and lay in every room. Some are darker rooms,... read more

Woof Wednesday: We done found us some snow!
Hello friends!! Wow, have I got some exciting stuff to share with you today! Last week, we took a little vacation and even though it’s pretty warm at home…where we went there was SNOW! And lots of it. I could hardly even believe my eyes. And we didn’t even have to drive that far. Mom says about 3 hours which in dog time means you’re going to be in the back of the truck for a... read more

Woof Wednesday: Hey fellas! I love you!!
Heloooooooo! In case you’re wondering, that’s how I greet folks when I’m feeling a little frisky. There’s nothing like a nice, drawn out howl to let the neighborhood know you’re outside and taking callers. Cause I have to tell you I’m quite frisky these days although the worst is nearly past. And I haven’t had nearly as many male callers at the front gate this... read more

Woof Wednesday: Save me from the evil tube!
Oh great furry ones, Have you ever encountered something in your house which you thought was perfectly safe and harmless but suddenly watched it become dangerous and evil? It hasn’t happened to me often but the last few days I have been tormented by a HUGE cardboard tube that I’m sure must be possessed. The tube came into the house with my new rug (some say it’s Mackenzie’s but I... read more

Woof Wednesday: We need more snow!
Woof, woof Friends! Hope 2010 is off to a stellar start for you and your family. It’s been quite chilly here in Germany…the humans are saying something about -11°C (11°F) in the mornings. I don’t really know what that equals in dog temperature but let’s just say I can see my breath when I’m outside and everything that comes out of me steams when it hits the ground. Cool! We... read more

Woof Wednesday: The smells of the season
Dearest puppy friends, How the heck are ya?? Did you survive Thanksgiving without getting in trouble for stealing the turkey? Did you get rewarded with lots of tasty treats because you were such a good dog and behaved so well around all the guests? I have been happily reaping the benefits of lots of leftovers in the house…but I must say I could certainly stand to take in a few more bits of turkey,... read more

Woof Wednesday: Am I really that scary?
Hey friends! What’s going on? Is it raining nonstop where you are too? It’s been nothing but drizzle, rain and more drizzle here. Totally disgusting. Today we finally have some sunshine but when it’s raining, I just don’t even want to go for a walk. To be honest, I barely want to go outside at all in the rain. When I come back in, I have to stand and wait to be toweled off (which... read more
