Love your skin naturally

We’ve been living a more sustainable life for the last 5 years (hard to believe we’ve had our farm that long already), but we’ve been striving to live more naturally and green since about 2001 (shortly after we met). That year, we started making natural and organic body care products for ourselves — which also quickly grew into supplying our friends, family and other people they told as well.

We named our company Newf Brand, due to our Newfie Ayla who seemed to personify our company. Not only was she laid back and as natural as can be, but she’s also adventurous, passionate about life and loves some pampering (especially in the form of belly rubs). Ayla also happens to be our company mascot and she really loves all the attention it brings when we’re out promoting somewhere.

There are many ingredients that end up in body care products and cosmetics that would not only make you gag — but possibly also make you sick or even give you cancer. The five most common illness inducing ingredients in personal care and beauty products are: Propylene Glycol (PG), Polyethylene glycol (PEG), Sodium Lauryl (or Laureth) Sulfate (SLS or SLES), Cocoamide and Lauramide DEA (diethanolamine). These ingredients are often used as industrial cleaners, degreasers and even plane de-icers. And unfortunately, most of these ingredients are very commonly found in your everyday bath and body products (especially SLS and SLES which increasing foaming). That means you’re putting yourself and your family at unnecessary risk every single day. 

One thing we’ve often noticed in our quest to put better, chemical-free products onto our skin is that a lot of companies try to take advantage of people when it comes to living green. Some of our competitors charge a small fortune for their products, and we just can’t figure out why — unless they have made poor decisions and are paying too much for their raw materials, or are just downright greedy!

Newf Brand Bath and Body Care is not only a green company, but also family owned and operated. We also donate 10% of our profits to charity at the end of each year — because we think it’s important to support our local community as well as help others in their time of need.

Our current line of products includes shaving products for women as well as a fantastic after wax spray…and our unisex shaving trio chock full of vegan and organic ingredients. We will also soon be expanding to include some fantastic facial products — and a collection of anti-aging serums that are out of this world!
