If only I knew what to buy…
I’m really excited to be working with CSN Stores once again and will be selecting something from their enormous inventory of items (seriously, they have everything from lights to bakeware to furniture) that I need for the kitchen. Because personally, we have enough furniture, lights and other stuff around here that we’re trying to get rid of or install still. But I always seem to need something else for my kitchen…it helps encourage me to want to spend more time in there, too! Although I’m going to have to start getting rid of things I don’t use in there soon because I’m totally running out of space.
I think I might get a couple of mixing bowls like these porcelain ones. I think they just look so classic and they’ll be fun to use when I do cooking videos (whenever that might be!)
I also really need an oven thermometer for my bread baking needs. I was actually hoping they might have a baguette baking tray, but alas, I’m going to have to find that elsewhere. Instead I think I’ll get this little stainless steel roller. Now you might be wondering what I was wondering when I saw this…which was, “But won’t the dough stick to the roller??” Apparently you can stick the roller into the fridge for a bit and when cooled, the stainless steel will be less sticky. I’ll definitely be the judge of that!
Something I actually really, really like is the following cutting board. I just think the little drawer underneath is such a neat idea. Unfortunately, I would like it to be a bit larger than 40 x 30cm…so I guess I’ll just have to keep discarding the produce waste the old fashioned way for now.
What are you dreaming about having for your kitchen right now?

Well I’d take one of those rollers for a start. I’d also like a really big stock pot (something like this for soups this winter: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/american-kitchen-20-quart-commercial-stockpot/?pkey=cnew-view-all), and I wouldn’t say no to a Tagine (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/bachmara-decorated-tagine/?pkey=cnew-view-all) or a food processor (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/cuisinart-elite-die-cast-16-cup-food-processor/?pkey=x%7C4%7C2%7C%7C4%7Cfood%20processor%7C%7C0&cm_src=SCH)…but that’s just for starters! I’m a sucker for kitchen gadgets.
ooh! Love that tagine! I’ve been thinking about getting one because we’re rather addicted to curry lately
And Williams Sonoma is like the most dangerous place on earth for me!
Oh that cutting board with the drawer underneath is quite awesome! What I have been longing for is a Le Creuset cast iron pot…but alas, I have no room in my tiny, two butt kitchen for it.

That’s only in the time I’ve had to look
That moose cutting board is so going to be yours soon. That is too cute. I have to admit I barely even look at their US offerings lately because it’s just no fair to see all the things I can’t have
well.. that cutting board that you posted with your blog.. WAY cool! I looked through every cutting board they had (hence 3 moose cutting boards, and 3 cow cutting boards) but didn’t see one. SO.. its not always greener on the other side of the ocean
Hmmm…dreams for my kitchen: new paint and putting the tile down eventually. New dishwasher…lol I think I broke the spring in mine for the door. Ooopsie. Did get new lights I guess it pays to have an electrician for a hubby.
Great blog. I would like to see some ideas on silicone bakeware molds too.
Great blog, will be checking back regular for any new ideas, keep up the good work…
