Woof Wednesday: Was it MY happy burpday?
Hey puppy pals!
Something strange happened today. Mom and dad kept saying that it was Mackenzie’s birthday. And you might recall, I am also sometimes known as Mackenzie. But when it came time to unwrap the presents, all of them were given to the baby. I figured if I looked closely enough at them she might be convinced the actually belonged to me.
I also needed to make sure that everything in the packages was safe. They were all from family but who knows what could have happened to them on the way to us. Postal workers are crazy!
Unfortunately it seemed that the baby wasn’t planning to share with me…because eventually she just started pushing me out of the way. How rude!
So poor me, I just had to go lay by myself and eat an old bone. My only ray of hope in this week now is that Thanksgiving is coming.
Are ready for Thanksgiving? Here in Germany we don’t actually have Thanksgiving but mom is still going to cook on Saturday. I LOVE Thanksgiving because it always means lots of extra special treats in my dinner bowl…like turkey, sweet potatoes and sometimes even a little pumpkin pie. I really like pumpkin pie. Plus there are tons of my favorite people there so someone always wants to pet me or play with me. It rocks!
Have a great Turkey Day for all those celebrating it and hope you get lots of extra treats!
Newfie kisses,
Ayla
