Getting festive
We went to get our Christmas tree yesterday…and Stefan has been putting up lights and building yard decorations over the last couple of weekends. We were hoping that some more of our neighbors would find their holiday spirit…but so far they seem to be trying to conserve energy or something. Kinda pathetic really. Or maybe they figure we have enough Christmas spirit for the whole street.
Here’s a couple photos.
We’re going to add a snowman to the mix and perhaps a few other yard decorations. We also have a Christmas tree to put up and decorate inside the courtyard. Next year, we’ll probably put one out front too. So far no one has messed with anything which we’re really happy about!

Might have to rent us a cherry picker or something….would be nice if we could make friends with someone who has one of those suckers. We definitely have several uses for one of those
Tomorrow I need to work on getting the tree up…and then things will be pretty well finished around here…and after Stefan finishes his Frosty. ![]()
