Are you an expat living in Germany who likes to blog about your adventures? Would you like to meet up with a bunch of other expats somewhere in Germany one weekend, explore a (possibly new) city and just have fun?
In case you’ve never heard of it before, I’d like to introduce WEBMU – Whiney Expat Bloggers Meet-up.
The 2011 event is beginning to take shape, so if you’d like to find out when and where it’s all going to go down (and add your votes during the planning phase) go sign up. Not only will you get a chance to meet some of the great people we got to meet last October in Hamburg, but I’m certain you will enjoy every minute of it.
When you sign up for the WEBMU forum, you will be interrogated just a little bit. Your blog will be verified and Cliff will make sure you’re real. We can’t just let in anyone off the street…sorry. And the stuff we talk about on there is sorta personal, hence all the protection. But trust me, it’s worth the trouble.
Questions? Concerns? Fire away. And hopefully I’ll be meeting a few more of you this year!
I had never heard of WEBMU, thanks for passing on the info. Not sure if we will be here for the next meet up, but what a great idea π
Well maybe you’ll happen to make it. They’re talking about a September-ish date at the moment. You’d be one of three Texas girls there π
Just posted yesterday my vote in favor of Frankfurt again this year. Saw that you were offering some organizational services. I’d be in on that as well. Fingers crossed on that one. I’d certainly like to make a point about Frankfurt not sucking as much as some folks seem to think it does. π
Hello! This sounds cool although I am not sure my blog really counts as good enough (not just being modest, I really don’t update as often as I should) but I was wondering how to get involved more with other expat bloggers in Germany. Might come along next year when I have a bit more direction in my blogging, or am I being over cautious? Is there a expat Germany blogging elite?
