So I just talked to our contractor and unfortunately his brother, who has been supervising and performing most of the work on our house lately while Macky himself works on another job site, is sick. So no one will be coming to work today. But the estrich (insulation in cement form) for the kitchen floor will be coming tomorrow which is very good news…because once that is in and set, they can shortly thereafter do the tiles and then we can place the cabinets and so on…which will be very excellent indeed. The floor guy will also be coming tomorrow to put the lacquer down so it should be a very productive day. We are also having a regular trash container delivered in the morning and hopefully can get those out of there before Christmas so things are a bit nicer looking around here.
In other good news, Macky will finally be able to work full time on our house again because he is finishing up on his current job site today and after today will have no other projects standing in the way of them finishing ours…which means working hard core…which makes us very happy. So I’m back to the other house now where it’s at least a bit warmer and there are no holes in the walls…
