Well, I guess I spoke too soon. Shortly after I posted about sitting here waiting on the repair guy, he showed up. Speak of the devil, I guess…
It was the same guy as last time and he came in and got right to work. I was rather impressed when 15 minutes later he had the new part in and the machine was working again with renewed vigor. The process of printing out the receipt almost took longer than the repair itself!
Of course, the first load of laundry is already in there and I have to say I’m pretty excited to have it working again. I’m actually almost looking forward to catching up on the laundry – which is probably mostly just me looking forward to having piles of clean clothes around again instead of dirty, funky ones. And of course not needing to buy out all the supplies of white undershirts from our local retailers makes me happy too.
