I’m sad to admit that I’ve been a bit too preoccupied with other things lately to really put my all into YouCapture. I hope Beth can forgive me. I generally really look forward to all the challenges and seeking out things that I wouldn’t normally photograph to get fun and interesting shots that allow me to play with my camera just a bit more. But sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
The theme this week was red…which I’ve discovered is not a very prominent color in our house or anywhere near by…aside from stop signs and traffic lights of course.
Stefan did manage to spot this very cool and red lady bug at the Palmengarten last Saturday, though.
I hear you!! Too much going on over here as well and I’m not at all pleased with what I got and what I was hoping would be a fun photo hunt. Still, these weeks happen. LOVE the photo of the ladybug though – what a bright pop of color!
Love your buggy macro!
Great photo! Good focus on the ladybug.
Tiffany, I like this ladybug picture. And was wondering if it’s a “true” ladybug and not an asian lady-beetle as we have here. The color of ours is more of an orange-red and they stink terribly come late Spring.
🙂 If you had been in my sister’s Tennessee home you could have taken a ladybug “group” picture. Every winter thousands of the little fellows show up in her home. They mostly confine themselves to windows so she isn’t upset by their presence. They are very beneficial little beetles and destroy multitudes of pests, such as aphids, in the summer.:-)
Your picture was great!
WOW! Amazing shot! Love the blades of grass and how they cross and the different focus. Great shot!
How awesome that you found a ladybug. I have not seen one in what seems like forever. Love that shot
Great shot, I love how crisp and clear the ladybug is!
