I’ve been out of the You Capture “game” for the last few weeks due to all the moving chaos, but I’m really looking forward to thing settling down in the coming weeks and getting back to the challenges.
This week, the focus was on summer. And although it’s been a bit of a strange summer here so far, we’ve definitely had some nice summer-like weather.
And what could be more summer like than colorful pinwheels…
naps in the courtyard….
learning to play tennis…
and talking long walks that leave you drooly and with leaves clinging to your mouth. 😉
Hope you’re enjoying a wonderful summer so far!
I knew I’d enjoy looking at everybody’s summer captures and yours are no exception. What an awesome looking dog you have. I love his ‘up close and personal’ shot and the picture of the little tennis player is SO fun! Also, I have to include a comment about the pinwheel. It’s a good thing you identified it because I’m not sure I would have known what it was. But I would have known that it had great colors and an awesome interplay of focus and unfocus. Great post!
Thanks so much, Mary. Our Ayla has a lot of character. I’m just glad she’s finally letting me photograph her more often — she’s usually quite camera shy. 🙂
pinwheel shot is awesome! But I’m also glad that you said what it was, because I wasn’t quite sure!
