Hi, we’re Tiffany and Stefan

We’re Gen Xers who decided midlife was a starting line, not a finish line. After years abroad, a farmhouse, and a lot of stuff we didn’t need, we now live and work from a fifth wheel with our teen daughter, Great Dane, and two cats.

No Ordinary Homestead is where we share what that looks like: the roads, the remote-work reality, a marriage that’s still fun after over 25 years, and the midlife curveballs in between. The theme running through all of it is a simpler way: fewer things, more time, and less doing it the hard way.

The Lobstah Crawl

Seven months up the East Coast from Naples to Acadia, then west to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture in July. We move on weekends and work Monday to Friday, so expect honest takes on campgrounds, towns and what slow travel actually costs.

Meet our pilot

Our daughter Mack flies our Piper Cherokee, and yes, the plane comes on the road trip. She’s starting her own blog, Flying with Mack, so we’ll just be the proud parents cheering from the ramp (and occasionally get to fly with her as well).
