The house is full today as both my mom and Stefan’s parents are spending Christmas at our house. A feast is being prepared to mirror what we would have had on Thanksgiving since we missed it this year: turkey, stuffing, current relish, fresh rolls, salad, sweet carrot, corn with cream cheese, brussel sprouts…and for desert pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake. It’s actually a bit of a dessert showdown between my mom and Stefan. He’s going with the old classic recipe…and my mom is trying the new cheesecake version. Both smell awesome. I’m already looking forward to the leftovers…and the entire house smells good enough to eat!

I mentioned it yesterday but our lovely Christmas tree outside is constantly looking at us today…ain’t it purdy? 🙂

Next year, we’ll try to add a few more colors to the system…but the silver and maroon nice too. They just remind us of Stefan’s former employer since those are the colors they used for everything.

Hope every one is having a wonderful Christmas and that they’re able to spend it with many of your loved ones. We’re still hoping for a bit of white stuff to fall and have a bunch of presents to wrap…so we best get to it!
