I can barely contain my excitement as I type this. Stefan just called and….

OUR COUNTER IS BEING INSTALLED ON FRIDAY!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

Just when we started to wonder if it wasn’t going to happen at all, Dino came through. He really must have been riding their case because they managed to finally get everything stuck together and will be delivering the to the warehouse today. Then the installer will be here before noon on Friday to put it in. Ecstatic barely describes what I’m feeling. I really cannot believe it and probably still won’t even after they are here and the counter is in.

So we won’t have to entertain 8 guests on cardboard box covered cabinets and I can christen the counter with the new coffee machine….too exciting!

Now all that will be left is installing the baseboards around the bottom of the cabinets and finding baseboards for the island. Then our electrician can finally come out and put the plugs in the island and hook up our second oven and the stove. Woohoo! We may actually finish the kitchen this year after all 🙂
