Ayla’s Canine Cooler beds have officially arrived in Germany. Unfortunately, they are at the customs office and I will have to drive over there to pick them up so she will just have to wait until tomorrow. As luck would have it, the really warm weather is on its way out. We’ll probably be in the 80’s for the next couple days but then it will cool off a bit more. But more heat is bound to head our way at some point and even 70 is a bit warm for her. But now we will be fully armed with the air conditioner and her new beds so we should have no troubles.

It’s drizzling here now with temps in the 60’s and Ayla is making the most of the opportunity to get nice and soggy. But it’s still supposed to get up to about 80 which I guess should make it a nice steamy day. We are supposed to have a refrigerator repair man drop by some time today so I vacuumed and cleaned a bit this morning which will naturally all be undone by the end of the day with the weather being this way. On the other hand, Ayla is enjoying her time outside so perhaps I can convince her to mostly stay out there and leave all the dirt out there too.

Hopefully the repairman won’t be freaked out by big dogs. Ayla seems to have spooked the mail carrier this morning already. He was dropping off a big catalog from a local electronics company and instead of ringing the front bell, he dropped the catalog over the fence. I can only assume that he might have asked what to do with it if Ayla hadn’t started barking at him when she saw him standing there. Ayla thought it was some sort of new toy and took off running around the courtyard with the 1000+ page catalog in her mouth. Her jaw strength is quite amazing 😉 Thankfully I got it from her before she started shredding it to pieces. I wouldn’t have looked forward to buying a new one for €5 lol.
