It’s been an incredible year of growth at No Ordinary Homestead. So I thought it was time for me to ask a reader question – how can I make No Ordinary Homestead more useful and enjoyable for you?

You don’t necessarily have to answer the questions below one-by-one. You don’t even have to answer them all. But if you have thoughts, suggestions or feedback about No Ordinary Homestead that you’ve been holding back, I would really love to know what you’re thinking.

  • What is your favorite part of NOH? What do you dislike?
  • What would you most like to read on NOH in the future? More gardening, recipes, DIY projects, self-reliant living, parenting, Ayla, expat life?
  • Do you like the frequency of NOH posts or would you like to read more?
    • If the frequency of posts increased (to say 2-3 per day) would you want individual emails sent with every post (for those already on the immediate NOH update list)? Would you prefer a compilation of posts once a day instead? Or once a week?
  • Is there something you wish you could access more easily on NOH? Or an area of the blog design that you think needs some help?
  • What else do you want to tell me? (Here’s your time to let the thoughts run wild!)

Any feedback, suggestions, ideas or criticism you want to share are welcome. I can’t promise that I will be able to answer each response personally but I do want you to know that I will be reading every single word and sitting on the edge of my chair every time a new comment or email comes in. I care very much about what you have to say!

Try to be honest, courteous and constructive with your feedback. I pour a lot of my heart and soul into No Ordinary Homestead every week so the criticism may be hard to hear. But I really want to grow NOH in 2011 in a direction that everyone can learn from and enjoy. So your response really means a lot to me.

Please just leave a comment below. Or if you’d rather send me an email, please don’t hesitate to do that instead: tiffany at noordinaryhomestead.com

P.S. I have just two more questions for you…

  • If NOH were to come out with a book with anecdotes from my nearly a decade spent in Germany, would you want to read it?
  • And, if there was cookbook of NOH favorites cookbook or one showcasing German cuisine, how interested would you be to get your hands on it?
