Oh You Capture friends and assignments. How I have missed you!

What started with me having no clue what to photograph for one single assignment quickly turned into a month of no You Capture. And to be honest, I barely picked up my camera at all during that time. It was so sad! I’m sure my camera must have felt I’d abandoned it. And my monthly letter to Mackenzie was definitely thin on photos last time around. But hopefully this post will mark me getting back in the saddle, riding high and proud. πŸ˜‰

I’d love to do something terribly creative for the assignment of “smile” — but there are simply not enough hours in the day for me to accomplish all I’m trying to accomplish as it is. So I’ll just stick with the simple stuff for now. But hop over to Beth’s I Should Be Folding Laundry and see some other inspired photographers in action.

There have been lots of laughs around here lately which are always very welcome. Especially after all the chaos and stress we’ve experienced over the last month or so.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous most of the weekend…and Mack convinced her daddy to race with her on the Bobby Carts. They both won about the same amount of times — and Stefan wasn’t even trying to let her win. Sometimes there would be interference from Ayla, who felt they were traveling at speeds far faster than should be allowed, and other times it was just driver error. But fun was definitely had!

And there is one thing in this house that is sure to get tons of laughs — and that is tickling Mackenzie. Her laughs and giggles can melt the worst of moods.
