If you read this blog via email or a reader, you may not have seen our new changes. You remember the old site, right? Nice but getting a bit outdated in the current world of blogs…
So here is the new and improved No Ordinary Homestead.
Drum roll please…
Hopefully you find the new layout easier to navigate and there’s a lot more opportunity for you to learn from some of my older posts too. I know in the past it wasn’t so obvious how to get from place to place unless you knew what you were looking for. I’m also updating the pages and adding a few new ones…plus you can find lots of new links to some of my other favorite blogs on each of the pages.
What do you think? Doesn’t it just have a nice, homey feel to it now?
I like it (as I said before) but I do miss the timbered house. Love that photo.
Nice! I’m thinking about changing mine around a bit…but with this 7 week old, all I can really think about in my free time is sleeping, cooking, or attempting to clean… 🙂
Glad you like the new layout!
I remember that feeling well with a newborn. But it will get easier. I learned one-handed typing fairly quickly while breastfeeding…but that only works so long until the baby starts being more interesting in the typing than your milk. Do you have a Björn or some sort of baby wearing sling? I wore Mack a lot when she was little (vacuuming, baking, etc) which really freed up a lot more time for me. But you still deserve to take it easy. I mean hey, there is recovery time needed!
