The last of the boxes

Well, I’ve reached the end of the line as far as boxes go. We’ve been given something like 60 boxes from colleagues of hubby’s who have recently moved. Since it can be expensive and a hassle to get rid of moving boxes here, they gladly let us have them and it was that many less that we needed to pay for. We were thinking that these boxes might be enough to take care of everything in the house but it appears that we were wrong. We even had a few boxes in the basement still which we’ve used moving from place to place….but even with those, we’re still going to have to buy more. I actually looked at some of the boxes at one of the home improvement stores near us today…but they seemed really flimsy which I guess explained why they were on sale and I decided we’d be better off just trying another place. Of course that means more running around but I’m not keen on picking up a box and everything falling out so I guess driving around a bit to find better boxes won’t be the end of the world.
