It’s been a good afternoon but I really can’t let me eyes off her for a second. She was just waking up when a good friend called and while I was on the phone with her, Ayla had too accidents in the house in the span of 10 minutes, despite having just been outside. Apparently we’re not too keen on someone or something else having the attention in this house. In addition, I was making myself some lunch which probably compounded the problem and certainly set off and barking and jumping frenzy when I started eating. I turned my back on her and ignored her and she eventually turned her attention to leaves or grass or something else outside.
Since she seemed to want to sleep outside more than in, I’ve opened some windows which means I’m sitting here in jeans and a sweater (it’s about 55 degrees outside) and she’s snoozing away. She’s doing a lot of sleeping today which hopefully doesn’t indicate anything other than she’s just feeling lazy and wanted to give me a break cause it is Friday after all. Thanks puppy – you have no idea how much I appreciate it…of course that does leave the question of what do I do with myself now? Sure I can figure something out 😉
