As you can see, the cucumbers we bought are thriving. The leaves of four plants are up to the top of the mini-greenhouse now after just barely peaking out yesterday. I guess it’s a very good thing we’re building the greenhouse at the moment since these plants are not going to be able to stay in the window sill for another month or so.

Both the sweet corn and monster corn we’ve planted are sprouting up nicely. S (a.k.a. hubby) turned the soil in the corner where we plan to plant the corn later on and we’ll be prepping it along with the other beds now.

The Defender zucchini are also starting to show promise. Hopefully some of the tomatoes will soon follow suit. I think a few of the salad plants may even be starting to show some life. We really planted these on a bit of a whim since we had them around already…but it would be nice if we got a few plants from them.
