It’s now 1.40pm and already we have enjoyed three trips to Hagebau today. Thank God the place is really close by. The first trip was expected, we needed more clips to mount the roof beams. That process went really quickly for the first two beams. But as it turned out we must have been more tired than we though yesterday because we ended up on clip short.
So, another run to Hagebau for one clip costing exactly 0.49EUR was in order. I ran over there while Stefan mounted one of the support rails around the border of the room. Joy, oh joy.
After about eight holes in the concrete for the ceiling rail our drill bit went dull and after searching around we discovered we have tons of bits, but no #6 concrete bits. So, another run to Hagebau had to take place. We stocked up on #6 bits and finally some hearing protection.
Now the first rail is mounted and we have a bunch of short connection pieces to put in place. Then it’s on for studding out the walls.
