Our You Capture assignment this week is to show our Top 10 Captures of 2010. I’ve only been participating since mid-August and I thought it might be difficult to find ten captures that I really loved after such a short amount of time…but it turns out I would have been a lot worse off and had a much harder time if I had been doing this all year!
Doing You Capture has been such a huge inspiration for me this past year, and it’s definitely encouraged me to get outside every week and take more photos. It also led me to make more interesting captures indoors also, such as Mackenzie in the mornings…because that’s just something I treasure but somehow never think about taking my camera upstairs to photograph.
If you’d like to see more great photos or want to learn how to start participating yourself, be sure to go visit I Should Be Folding Laundry.
You really got some great photos and it’s hard for me to pick a favorite! Everytime I thought, “That’s IT” I scrolled to the next one and thought, “never mind”! However, that very first one – the sunflower with the bee – is amazing.
I laughed over your comment that the books and hat picture was so “me” – you are dead right. I love that hat! And, of course, I love to read. ๐ I’m so glad I found NOH and that you had just found You Capture so that I could find it too – what fun! Can’t wait to see what pictures we come up with for 2011!
I love all these pictures! The love the horse shot and the chicken shot….so great!
Off-topic (but beautiful pics!) and i wouldn’t normally post petition links on other people’s blogs, but I think Ayla might approve. And in honor of newfs everywhere, this one deserves justice.:( http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/rosie-the-newfoundland-shot-by-police/
