Although this doesn’t help us much since we’re living in Germany, this garden zone map from hgtv.com is really quite nice. They’ll clue you in to your USDA zone, average minimum temperature, average last and first frost dates, planting ideas and much more.
If I had to make an estimate based on the basic information on here, I’d have to say we’re Zone 5 or 6…but it’s pretty hard to tell. I guess I’ll have to see if there are any cool garden charts like this for Germany somewhere…
