Today the contractor is coming to finish up our bathroom. The original plan was for him to arrive at about noon but because they are warning about the possibility of snow and freezing temps in many parts of Germany, "Macky" called and said he wanted to get in there earlier to finish things up. More importantly, our heater is currently turned off because the radiator in the bath is disconnected while the wall is being refinished and will then be replaced with a new radiator. So the current weather situation is already making things fun for us. We can only hope that these types of instances will continue to be the most pressing issues and the weather won't cause too much trouble overall.
So I'm on my way over to the house now. I will probably be a bit late since I'm sitting in traffic not far from our current house. I wanted to pick up some dry cleaning this morning since hubby will travel to London tomorrow and will need his suits but I also needed gas in the Defender which was slightly more important in the scope of things. Hopefully the bathroom will be finished up in the early afternoon, we can get the heat back on and they will come pick up our trash container around noon so I can get out of there and get the suits.
Going to be a busy day to say the least. I've brought some work with me so I hope I can get a lot accomplished during this time as well. Still no internet set up ther but at least I still have the Berry.
By the way, I'm still sitting in traffic. It's been 20 minutes now but only 3 cars in front of me waiting to turn so the end is near at least.
