Yesterday we went out to the stables and reevaluated our floor plan situation. We don’t have a lot of space to work with, with great aspirations and we where beginning to wonder how it would all flow.
Next to the stables there is an empty area still covered by the stable roof and wedged between stables and the barn. The window which Stefan just bricked out leads directly to this area.
Since it is basically dead space, formerly used to house (you guessed it) bird stables, I had the idea that we could break the window out again and enclose the empty space to make a built in closet. Stefan wasn’t really excited about the prospect of breaking out the bricks he had just put in a week ago and in turn building another wall.
It will be a lot of work, thankfully we still have enough bricks here to build the wall, but it will be absolutely worth it. So, after taking the dog for her morning walk it’s back to the stables.
