This week, Beth from I Should Be Folding Laundry has sent us on a mission to capture Faces. Last week I missed out on the assignment because I just didn’t manage to get any shots of togetherness…so this week I’m going to try to make up for it! To see more submissions from this week’s assignment, head over here. You’ll also learn how you can join in on the fun next week.

I decided to concentrate on some of the faces I see every day…and there were certainly a few more faces I wanted to capture, but they just would’t pose for me. Our cat, Princess, for example, refused to move out of the shadows. And photos of cats with flashes are just no good. I guess she’d been photographed enough over the last week while being featured in the living room renovation shots. πŸ˜‰

Mackenzie…this face says, “My mouth is full and I don’t know if I really want you taking more photos of me.”

What was it full of? Peanuts of course. Held in a very handy little container…

This is the face of Ayla every morning when she’s waiting to go on her walk: “Is it time yet??”

This is one of Ayla’s many faces during the walk. This one says: “Wait, did you hear something over there??”

This is Ayla’s “Do I get a treat now?” face…which she gives whether or not she has done anything to deserve a treat. I think she figures I might just give her one for the heck of it cause she’s so cute. I am tempted sometimes. πŸ˜‰

And a face that greets me first thing in the morning from our cat Marilyn, which wonders, “Why are you disturbing me? I’ve been laying in this spot for the last 16 hours. Go away.”

And finally, as she realizes Mackenzie is not in the room and I’m not going to kick her off the bed, I get the “Well, I might as well go back to sleep but I’ll be watching you” look.

And just because you rarely get to see photos of Stefan or myself, I figure I’ll give you a cheesy shot of us which is one of our typical couple poses:

See you next week…what will the topic be then? Only Beth can tell us!
