I'm feeling a bit nauseous today. Not really sure why but maybe I was on my feet too much yesterday? Or maybe Mackenzie wasn't happy with the cup of Darjeeling I had this morning and wanted something different? At any rate, I think I will be spending a good part of...
Ayla the Eco-Friendly Dog
A couple weekends ago, we took Ayla with us down to Munich where a couple friends of our were celebrating moving into their new place. It just so happens that in their back yard is a stream which we decided Ayla just had to play in. She is a water dog, you know....
On a lighter note…
How do you know you've done WAY too much business with your trash container company? You receive a Christmas card from them!I was just taking down some Christmas cards hanging in our kitchen and had to laugh to myself. Sure, we had about 10 containers last year from...
Canine Cooler update
You may recall me posting about the Canine Cooler we purchased a few months back for Ayla when it was really warm around here. I placed it in the kitchen where it was mostly out of the way but Ayla didn't show much interest in it. When we got our Christmas tree this...

What a Newf can’t destroy
On Monday, Stefan got his motorcycle license so he can commute to work by bike. Fun times indeed. While we were waiting to go pick up his new motorcycle, we decided to run by the pet store since I needed to go by there anyway. Stefan was hoping to find some sort of...
Before and After: The Kitchen Part 2
Continuing on from where we left off a few days ago in Part 1, we were in the middle of building a wall in the kitchen to split it into two rooms. Two days later, the wall was nearly finished which meant it was nearly time to start finishing out the ceiling and...
Before and After: The Kitchen Part 1
Ok, I've been slacking off lately with the blog...I'm sorry. We recently dropped down from two laptop PC's to one because we need a new charger cable for our old one and I just haven't made it a priority to get a new one yet...but I definitely do need to because...
