In case you missed my post earlier this week, I’m starting a series of decluttering giveaways. Mackenzie’s room is the first one under the microscope because I’m sick of looking at the overflowing boxes of baby clothes that she has outgrown in the last twelve months. Part of me wants to hold on to all her clothes forever, especially because most of them are so cute. And another part just wants to give them all to you guys, but it’s unfortunately a rather expensive ordeal when I’m mailing stuff from Germany to America (or elsewhere in the world) so I’ve decided that for all of us to get the most bang for our buck, I’m going to give away a collection of things from each age range of clothes that we have. Hopefully it will go to a great new home that has a use for it, whether you’ll be giving it to someone you know as a gift or keeping it for yourself.

The first package of clothes are for newborns. We all know these clothes barely get worn at all…and some babies don’t even fit into them when they’re born. Mackenzie was only able to fit into newborn things for a few weeks and I’m pretty sure she never even had some of these things on.

Item #1: White armless sleeper sack with super cute bears

Size: 0-3
Details: A cute newborn sleeping sack that will keep your little one warm on cooler nights without you needing to layer them with tons of other clothes. Arms stay free to roam but everything else is snug as a bug. It snaps closed up the front.
Worn: Maybe 10 times.
“Awww” factor: 7

This was one of many gifts we got right after Mackenzie was born. Of course we also ended up with two more really cute sleeping sacks at the same time so we really didn’t have much use for this. But I just loved the little rabbits and bears on it. Do they make these things in adult size?

Item #2: Carter’s Two-Piece Pajamas and Just One Year by Carter’s Onesie and Jumper

Size: NB and 0-3
Details: The Carter’s footed pajamas (in the middle) are a top and bottom set with “Welcome to the World” written on it. The onesie (left) has three little pink hearts and the words “Thank heaven for little girls.” The footed jumper (right) says “baby girl” on it with a pink heart and the feet have little flowers stitched on them with pink flowery fabric on the bottom. All of them close with snaps.
Worn: Less than 10 times.
“Awww” factor: 8

There are few things cuter than clothes for little kids. These pieces are just precious. And here’s no mistaking that these are for little girls!

Item #3: Just One Year by Carter’s Sleeper with hat

Size: NB
Details: Soft knit cotton long-sleeved sleeper with gathering at the bottom. Two buttons in the back. Matching hat to make sure baby looks good while staying warm.
Worn: Once.
“Awww” factor: 9

I always found this outfit really cute, but just sorta unpractical in the very cold -18°C weather we had when Mackenzie arrived. Perhaps if I’d already had some really cool leg warmers or tights I would have liked these better. I don’t think Mack ever even had the cap on her head once.

Item #4: Other Newborn Essentials

Size: 0-3
Details: Nine pairs of tiny socks, a warm little white sweatshirt and 5 never worn onesies from Gerber
Worn: The onesies have never been worn. The socks she had on a few times but they never touched the floor. And the sweatshirt was one of our favorites but she still only had it on maybe 15 times.
“Awww” factor: 6
