Get kids interested in gardening

The National Gardening Association has created a great website for parents and especially teachers to help get kids interested in learning about gardening – http://kidsgardening.org/. You can find all sorts of projects for kids to do which will help them learn about all aspects of gardening, from composting to collecting seeds. April is National Gardening Month so it’s a perfect time to get started. They have a special calendar for April with lots of projects to keep kids occupied. They range from learning about supporting your local parks to learning the basics about plants and how to identify them
