This week I’m joining in on a new photo project. It’s hosted by Leigh at Leigh vs Laundry and you can learn more about it by clicking on the image and visiting her blog. The rules are actually quite simple…you just need to post a photo of something that makes you happy. And since I value the importance of enjoying the little things in life and finding something to be happy and positive about every day, I thought this would be something fun to join. Hopefully I will manage to capture all of these things on “card” (just not as cool as saying you got it on film lol) and can share them with you ever week!

This past Saturday, we took a little family adventure to the farmer’s market near us. It’s one of the bigger ones in our area and they always have tons of great produce, fresh meat and fantastic bargains on cut flowers. We resisted the urge to bring back a ton of mums for our yard and planters…but we couldn’t leave all the roses behind. So I’m happy about the beautiful roses which once again are decorating our home.

And I’m also really happy that I got to play with Mackenzie in the beautiful fall leaves there and teach her how fun that can be. Getting to be a kid again is priceless! 🙂
