Cannabis Ice Cream You Can Make Now

Ingredients

  • 3 grams ground weed
  • 6 large organic egg yolks
  • 2 cups of heavy organic cream
  • 1 cup of raw or organic whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil
  • ⅔ cup of organic coconut palm sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon unrefined sea salt
  • Green food coloring or any color of your choice
  • 1 handful of organic mint-chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Optional: Toppings of nuts, fruits, caramel, oreo cookies, and anything nice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Decarb the ground weed by placing it an oven-safe dish bake for 30-40 minutes. Check and mix every 10 minutes to cook and decarb evenly. Allow it to cool when the weed turns from a green to a light-medium brown color it’s good to go.
  2. In a small pot mix decarbed ground recreational weed with organic heavy cream, organic milk, coconut sugar, and salt. Let the mixture simmer for at least 20 minutes on low-medium heat, do not let this come to a full boil. The additional time allows the THC to percolate for the high factor in the cannabis ice cream
  3. Remove the pot from the heat. Whisk 6 egg yolks in a bowl add ½ of the hot cream mixture continue whisking to avoid scrambling the yolks. Pour the mixture into the pot and return the pot to low-medium heat. Continue heating until the mixture coats the back of a spoon. Use a finger and run a line on the mixture, if it holds it’s thick enough. Remove from the stove and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Filter the mixture with a cheesecloth in a bowl to eliminate the spent material. Squeeze as much liquid as you can.
  5. Place the bowl in the fridge and allow it to chill for at least 4 hours. Once cooled add your flavorings of peppermint extract, and a few drops of food coloring.
  6. I’m assuming that you don’t have an ice cream maker same as I so do it the hard way mix by hand. Spread the mixture onto a pan place in the freezer for 45 minutes. When you pull it out you’ll notice that some parts are frozen. Churn mixture with a whisk breaking up the frozen pieces. Pop the tray back, do the process every 30 minutes for about 2 to 3 hours. It becomes thicker and thicker use a hand mixer for a better stir.
  7. The mixture is done when it holds to the pan and holds its shape. You have successfully made a delicious, fully frozen cannabis ice cream. Transfer your mixture into a tightly-sealing container. The texture will be just like the real thing and taste better.
  8. Make your THC sundae, scoop your cannabis ice cream from the container into a tall glass. Gather all your favorite yummy toppings and generously sprinkle it with marshmallows, chocolate chips, oreo cookies, caramel syrup, and everything nice. Leave some room for fruit garnishes like bananas, strawberries, cherry and don’t forget the almonds, cashew, or walnuts.
