Something every woman knows how to do is multitask. It’s just a skill that we seem to have from birth. But learning to integrate a newborn into the mix of life takes some extra special juggling skills. Women who have twins or more than one child in general – hats off to you! But it does seem that you develop an ability to take short naps on a moments notice while she’s napping…and you find certain portions of the day when she sleeps that you can still get all those other things done that you need to accomplish (laundry, dishes, figuring out what to thaw out for dinner, blogging, working).

We’ve had Mackenzie at home for a week now and I’m oh-so-slowly getting caught up on my blogging. I’m still insanely far behind and continue thinking of things I need to blog about…and it’s only likely to get worse with my mom arriving and the holidays coming up. But I am currently honing my skills of blogging (and doing other stuff on the laptop) while breastfeeding. So far it’s working out very well. Maybe I’ll catch up by New Years…
