Whew. What a couple of weeks it’s been! Hope you’ve had a great start into 2013 so far. We sure have been having some fun around here!

Mack got some really cute clothes for Christmas from various sources, and she was wearing some of them to brunch the day after Christmas, so I figured I’d show her off a bit since you don’t see her monthly anymore. 😉 This Calvin Klein jacket from Stefan’s Aunt Irene is super cute on her– of course she makes just about everything look cute these days!

Using the camera bag as her own camera bag was completely her idea. Doing her best to be a photographer like mom and dad. 😉 And the hair do was also her doing. It’s funny — some days she loves to put all kinds of things in her hair. And other days, you couldn’t pay her with Skittles and donuts to put one clip in there.

We had an small get together with some people from Stefan’s office between the big celebrations so I had an excuse to get dressed up a bit (although it was a bit hard not to just stay on the couch for the evening instead after all the partying and food we’d consumed in the previous days!) But I got all dolled up and even painted my nails! I love this dark blue/gray color I bought a while back.

And check out that great necklace! It’s one of several that Stefan made for me a little while back. You may not know it — but making your own jewelry is actually quite easy and usually very inexpensive. Plus it’s really fun…and if you decide you don’t like it after a while, you just take it apart and make something new. 😉

We used lava stones and little butterfly and flower spaces on this one…plus this cool glass center stone which I really like. I think it came together pretty darn well and it’s one of my favorites to wear out although that’s probably not much of a surprise since I love a lack of color. 😉
