The foundation is finished. The 35 – 25 kilo bags of concrete were not even remotely close to what we needed. Perhaps he meant to sell us 40 kilo bags instead…but we still would have needed more. After we were through the first 35, we had to take two more trips to Hagebau for 15 -40 kilo sacks of concrete. That was still cutting it a bit close. We ended up taking a little short cut which we’ll go into more detail later. Our friend Jenny is coming over for dinner and to see our progress…she has no clue what she’s in for lol. We originally hoped to have her help us put us the window trusses for the greenhouse…but it’s going to be next weekend before we get to that now.
We’ll post a bit more later…first it’s off to the shower and get ready a bit before she arrives. We are totally exhausted so hopefully the shower will revitalize us a bit!
