Hey folks it’s me, Ayla! I snuck into the office to use their computer while they are vegging on the couch.

I have no idea what it is exactly they are doing, but I have been spending quite a bit of time with them in the backyard behind the barn. I LOVE IT THERE! It’s green, it smells good and there is a ton of flowers I can eat. It’s so good I even don’t mind having to be on a leash back there because my humans are moving around so much. I digress, for the last couple of days my humans have been digging up my garden, moving in boards, hammering, screwing, digging more, cursing a little and talking non stop about growing vegetables and raised garden beds and something they call a greenhouse…I don’t know I think I should start reading their other blog – self reliant yuppies – to get a better understanding of what’s going on.

Anyways, even though I wasn’t allowed to roam freely around the yard, I found myself a nice shady place and watched the commotion. I even decided to lend a hand in the digging and must say I did an awesome job at helping – I can fit my whole head in the hole.

As you can see we all had a productive day. My mommy was saying something about my fur mommy and sister coming to visit this weekend. But I’m not sure, I can’t hear so well with my head underground.

In the end I got to roam around a bit to inspect the situation. I am still not sure what to make of these wooden boxes on the ground. Hey, maybe they are building me an obstacle course. Oh those tulips sure look tasty…might have to eat a few of those on the next trip out back.

Lots of Love,
Ayla
