Hey everydog!
Hope you’re all having a great weekend. My human dad’s family came to visit and it was GREAT! Before they arrived, my humans decided to do some cleaning up around the farm. Naturally I did my best to help out! Here’s me helping dad remove the old feed troughs from inside the horse stalls. Apparently my humans think they can transform this building into a little guest house…I’m looking forward to helping them more on that 😉
I took a bit of a dip in the nasty, smelly, green duck pond water in our courtyard after my mom started cleaning it out. My parents said I couldn’t come back inside afterwards which I was fine with. Instead I did my best frogger pose in the courtyard while I dried off. My parents thought it was really funny that when I stood up there was a wet spot on the pavers in the shape of me! I personally think they should paint this so it’s always there…or maybe I should just always be wet so I can create new artwork of myself all over the place 🙂
Here’s a photo of my mom and I in Rüdesheim. We went there with my human dad’s parents, his grandmother and his aunt. So many great people to love on me!! We stopped in a little market square and they all tasted some of the local wine. I got up on the bench for a while and posed for a few photos…
How cute and I, right? 🙂 I got to have a bit of ice cream while we were there but it just wasn’t working for me. I’m going into heat finally and my appetite is a bit strange. But my humans did make a lovely steak for me last night which I ate up immediately. I’m hoping my mom will cook for me again today. Yummy!
I’ve got to go back to sleeping now. All this excitement really wiped me out. It’s so hard playing the entertainer!
Bark at you later!
Lots of Newfie kisses,
Ayla
You are making your mom look tiny in that photo! You’re a big girl Ayla!
Love ya lots,
Maggie
Rüdesheim… Germany? I have been there! 🙂 My mom grew up in Bingen. 😉 I love the picture!
Yes – we live in Germany 🙂 Rüdesheim is a fun place if you can overlook the tourists arriving by the bus load…
I will state for the record that Ayla dwarfs me in this photo but she’s really not THAT huge. I mean she’s a big girl at about 100 pounds…but her head was closer to the camera 🙂
