Welcome to another Wednesday! I hope you’re having a spectacular week.

This week I got to throw together a complete new outfit with a sweater I bought at Old Navy without trying it on. As it turns out, it looked great and was a nice classic look for a chilly winter day. We were down near Munich visiting an old friend from college who we hadn’t seen in nearly 4 years. Man was it awesome to hang out with him again! And it really got our creative juices flowing once again.

I also was sporting a smoked eye look, with a nearly nude color just under my eyebrows, then heading into darker tones. The latter 3 are actually part of the smokey eyes compact I showed over here. The dark brown just gets applied over my eyeliner to fill out the look and also tone it down a bit.

I also thought I would take a moment to note that the black dot you see in the middle of my earrings — that actually goes all the way through. In keeping with my rockerish attitude, I actually stretched my earlobes a couple of months ago. I’ve always been fascinated by plugs and tunnels and just love the way they look. It’s a quite easy process but it can be time consuming. And I’ll be happy to share more about it if you want to know. BTW, this is the largest I’m going (2 gauge) — I’ve got Β no interest in using my earlobes for a CD player anytime soon. πŸ˜‰

And to note just how chilly it is around here, I’m always in socks these days. So I thought I would sport my very awesome green heart argyle socks from Old Navy. I just love them.
