We’re on our way to Italy and the navi says we’ve only got 140 km to go. We started out at about 11 am this morning and intended to meet up with Steffen and Steffi at 1 pm at a rest stop outside of Salzburg, Austria. But what should have taken us 2 hours to drive took about 3 in the end since we seemed to get behind every slow moving vehicle on the road. Thankfully our travel partners didn’t mind the wait and got to play some Scopa as well.
So we’ve been on the road now for 6 hours and so far everything has gone well. Ayla has also been a very good girl and hasn’t complained once. We hope to arrive at the campsite by 7 so another 2 hours to go. It’s raining like crazy up here in the Alps and we’ve just crossed into Italy so we’re looking forward to getting out of these mountains and away from the cold to sun and sand and relaxation.
Until next time…
