No Ordinary Kitchen

Fajita peppers and tortillas on a griddle at our campsite overlooking the water

From our kitchen to yours

Real food, small kitchens, big flavor.

Tonight’s kitchen: a griddle, a pile of fajita peppers and a view of the water.

We’ve cooked our way through an overseas move, a German kitchen with flour we couldn’t figure out, and now a fifth wheel kitchen that’s smaller than most walk-in closets. Somewhere along the way we learned that a great meal has less to do with the size of your kitchen and more to do with how you use it.

This is where we share what we actually cook: smart, mostly healthy, always delicious, with the occasional over-the-top project when we’re feeling ambitious. Think Römertopf roasts, sous vide steaks, Dutch oven dinners over the campfire and pizza from our Ooni at a campsite. We love pushing past the limits of standard kitchen gear and figuring out what works when space is tight.

Whether you cook in an RV, a tiny apartment or a full-size kitchen you’re tired of cooking in, pull up a chair. Start with our most-loved recipes below, or dive into a collection.
